Installation and Angle Cutting Instructions

Ecoflaps are a one-way directional flap. To receive the full benefit of the spray-reducing, fuel saving and aero-dynamic features of the flaps, please install them with the rounded-edged side facing toward the tire (toward the front of the truck or trailer). The flat, smooth side (this will be the side with the hot stamping if any) will be facing outward, away from the truck.

Cut To Fit:

Flaps can be cut to fit your truck’s needs such as cutting them shorter or cutting the upper corner to fit on diagonal brackets. Please use a hand saw or ban saw to cut flaps. Do not use a skill saw. Flaps should be left as long as possible to insert as far up into the bracket as possible.

Cutting instructions: cut your diagonal line and stop about a half-inch before the end and then cut straight across.  This leaves the outside bar for better stability - see images below.
