The Andersen Difference

Since its modest beginnings, Andersen Flaps’ mission has remained constant-- to make roads safer for all motorists. In 2000, Barry Andersen began development of the Eco-flap and later after its official patent, incorporated in 2005. A truck driver for over 25 years, Andersen set out to reduce water spray for truck operators and drivers of other vehicles in order to improve visibility for passing motorists during rainy day conditions. The result was the Eco-flap, an ecologically sound mud flap with a unique airflow design that delivers both safety and fuel efficiency.
